The history of the Kunstplatz begins in 1908. With the construction of their artists’ residence, Cuno and Anna Amiet laid the cornerstone of their place of residence and work, which would later go on to become an international meeting point for the artistic and cultural scene. Today, the residences, studio and garden all come together to form the Kunstplatz, which offers space for a broad variety of artistic explorations and made-to-measure experiences – entirely in the spirit of Cuno Amiet.
