Amiet

Cuno Amiet (1869 - 1961) is one of the most important and versatile Swiss painters of the 20th century. Together with Ferdinand Hodler and Giovanni Giacometti, he is regarded among the pioneers of Swiss modernism. His extensive oeuvre is greatly influenced by art nouveau, symbolism and expressionism. Works by Cuno Amiet have been shown at over 1000 international exhibitions.
